Summer at Holiday Valley is a refreshing change of pace. The cool, green hills are a welcome respite from the hot hustle-bustle of the city. Visitors of all ages can enjoy the recreation, festivals and atmosphere of Holiday Valley and Ellicottville in the summer.
Holiday Valley features one of Western New York’s finest golf courses with full fairway water, beautifully manicured greens and breathtaking scenery from every hole. The 18 hole, par 72 course winds around ponds and through the trees at the base of the ski slopes.
At the Clubhouse Chalet you’ll enjoy the Cabana Bar on the deck of the three pool complex (open during summer months only). The Hearth Restaurant has a great view of the golf course and is open for lunches and dinners. McCarty Cafe serves Starbucks Coffee and hearty golfer's lunches at the turn.
All of Holiday Valley's trails are open to hiking and mountain biking, except those that cross the golf course. The mountain bike trails connect to NYS Forest land where there are many miles of logging roads and single track maintained by WNYMBA.
The golf course is open, weather permitting, from early April through the end of October. The pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The mountain bike trails are always open, depending on your appetite for mud!
